The vintage-style waxed cotton riding jacket is arguably the most British product in the world. Traditional materials and manufacturing methods take us back to a time when people worked and played outdoors, regardless of whether the sun was shining or it was raining. The fabric of the Bradwell jacket is made by the British manufacturer Millerain - a company whose roots go back to the time when goods were transported by sailing ships. Sails were made of cotton, which was waxed, thus providing protection against stormy and changing weather. This material was eventually also used in clothing that sailors used to protect themselves from the same elements.
