in 1921, the Chief was introduced for the first time in the Indian range, and it changed the world of motorcycles forever.
Now, exactly 100 years later, they've done it again by combining iconic American V-twin styling with modern performance and cutting-edge technology.
In creating the bike, the aim was to remove all the superfluous elements to retain the original essence of the motorcycle - frame, engine and wheels. The new Chief first catches the eye with its simple, clean-lined tubular frame and Indian Thunderstroke 116 air-cooled engine at its centre.
The Super Chief Limited has been given saddlebags and a windscreen, offering a little more versatility and inviting riders to ride longer distances and even more daring escapes from everyday life.
