Now, exactly 100 years later, they've done it again by combining iconic American V-twin styling with modern performance and cutting-edge technology.
In creating the bike, the aim was to remove all the superfluous elements to retain the original essence of the motorcycle - frame, engine and wheels. The new Chief first stands out for its simple, clean design with a tubular frame and an Indian Thunderstroke 116 air-cooled engine at its centre.
The Chief Bobber Dark Horse pays a stylistic homage to the bobber cult that began after World War II.
The Indian Chief Bobber is characterised by large tyres, kodar wheels, a muscular covered front fork, a bobber solo seat and a mini ape-hanger handlebar.
